La Giocomotiva offers Full English and Italian/English Bilingual nurseries and preschools. The ability to learn a foreign language is part of one of the multiple intelligences inherent in the child, namely linguistic intelligence.
At La Giocomotiva children come into contact with English from an early age. The interaction with the foreign language in this phase of growth will help them to better learn in the future what is in fact the most widespread language in the world: English. In fact, several studies have shown that words learned within the age of 3 remain in the minds of children for life.
Our English teachers speak to children exclusively in English. This allows for a faster and more immediate acquisition of the language as each dialogue is brought back to the performance of the usual sectional routines: from the good morning, to the organization of the games, to the description of the meal.
The educational engine is always the game: if at 12 months they learn to follow a song and mime its gestures, at 4/5 years they will be able to memorize the lyrics and sing it.
Every week we send parents a report of the activities carried out in English including links to the songs sung, titles of the books read, etc. so that the work done at school can continue at home involving the family!
